NWPrepsNow is a collaborative effort between the sports teams at SWX and The Spokesman-Review. Our mission is to provide the best, most robust coverage of high school sports in the Inland Northwest, complete with insightful coverage of games, brilliant photos, exciting videos, up-to-date scores, and relevant statistics – including league standings - for nearly all sports and contests at the prep level. In addition to our combined website, our cooperative efforts are evident on the sports page of The Spokesman-Review, as well as on the TV screen on SWX and KHQ Local News. About The Spokesman-Review

The Spokesman-Review sports department is dedicated to covering local high school varsity sports. Our high school sports database includes schedules for all the area teams and contains statistics from every varsity competition that is called to our department. Our online and print content includes game stories, feature stories and columns on area teams, players and coaches. SWX hit the airwaves in 2009 as a companion station to KHQ Local News, the leader in local news coverage in the Inland Northwest. Current broadcast agreements include professional arena football (Spokane Shock), college basketball (Gonzaga, Big Sky, SEC, WAC, Community Colleges of Spokane, college football (Big Sky, WAC, SEC, Whitworth), minor league baseball (Spokane Indians), junior hockey (Spokane Chiefs), high school sports (Greater Spokane League, Inland Empire League, Mid Columbia Conference), as well as various motocross and flat track racing events in the Spokane area.
