Game summary

What happened: Zach May broke off for an 80-yard touchdown run the second half as visiting University (2-2, 1-1) handled Lewis and Clark (1-3, 0-2) 49-10 on Friday night at Joe Albi Stadium. May finished with 15 carries for 142 yards rushing. Terrell Sanders added another great game to his season with 22 carries for 112 yards with two scores.

Sanders scored the first touchdown of the game on the Titans' open drive from one yard out to make it 7-0. Then, two minutes later, Christ Taylor returned a fumble 49 yards for a score. Sanders then pounded in another one-yard run to make it 21-0 late in the second quarter. The Tigers answered with a field goal, but Taylor took the ensuing kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown to pad the lead for the Titans. In the second half, Gavin Wolcott threw for a touchdown and ran for another while May added a score late in the fourth quarter.

For Lewis and Clark, wide receiver Samuel Weldon caught five passes for 90 yards with a touchdown.
