Super Six lead NC to state title

SR Story | TACOMA – The State 3A wrestling championship is staying in Spokane. Behind six wrestlers who each earned medals, North Central captured its first state championship Saturday during Mat Classic XXVI at the Tacoma Dome. The Indians’ previous best finish was third in 2010.

NC highlights strong day for GSL at 3A wrestling

SR Story | TACOMA – It was as close to a perfect day as possible for North Central at Mat Classic XXVI. The Indians, who sent six to state, went 5 for 5 in the quarterfinals Friday at the Tacoma Dome.

CV wrestlers send four to semifinals

SR Story | TACOMA – For not having a holster full of bullets, the Central Valley wrestling team made the most of its available arsenal Friday during opening-round action at Mat Classic XXVI. All seven of Central Valley’s state qualifiers won at the Tacoma Dome.

Freeman sends three wrestlers to State 1A semifinals

SR Story | TACOMA – The Freeman wrestling team, or at least its coach, has believed it has been overlooked this season. The Scotties advanced nine to state after winning league, district and subregional championships.
