Kelsey and Haley Moser combined to score 32 of Colton’s 47 points and St. John-Endicott shot 9 of 31 from the floor in the first half and could not recover, as the Wildcats (16-0, 6-0) won their 40th consecutive game 47-36 in St. John.
To start the night, both teams were unbeaten on the season with the winner trying to take a firm hold of first place, but even with 15 points from Kelly Van Lith and 11 from Alli Winters, the Eagles (14-1, 6-1) had no answer for the Moser sisters.
Kelsey Moser scored 18, while Haley added 14 points.
Cheney 51, Medical Lake 45: Laikyn Brophy scored 19 points with 11 rebounds and shot 8 of 8 from the free-throw line, including four in the final minute to clinch the win for the Blackhawks (7-6, 3-4) over the Cardinals (4-9, 3-4) in Cheney.
Kettle Falls 69, Chewelah 37: Samantha Charlton had 17 points with six rebounds and five steals and the Bulldogs (9-6, 2-3) put the Cougars (1-17, 0-6) away early, outscoring them 30-10 in the first half in Kettle Falls.
Lakeside 58, Newport 44: Leslie Stillar’s 22 points, five rebounds and five assists paced the host Eagles (16-2, 5-1) to a win over the Grizzlies (10-8, 3-3) in Nine Mile Falls.
Lexie Zappone added 13 for Lakeside, while Taylor Lewis led the Grizzlies with 17 points and seven rebounds.
Priest River 51, Bonners Ferry 39: Melissa Hopkins had 13 points and Morgan Stewart added 11, but it was Taylor Stewart who helped turn the tide for the Spartans (10-6, 3-2) in the third quarter.
Taylor Stewart scored six of her nine points to give the Spartans a six-point lead going into the fourth against the Badgers (7-11, 1-5) in Bonners Ferry.
Erin Hiatt collected a double-double for the Badgers with 15 points and 14 rebounds.
Republic 47, Curlew 37: Tori Orestad led the Tigers (14-3, 11-2) with 16 points and the Cougars (7-9, 5-8) could not come back after trailing by four at the half, despite 22 points from Katie Jo Torzewski in Curlew.
Inchelium at Northport: The game between the Hornets and Mustangs was postponed and will be played Monday in Northport.
Sprague-Harrington 55, LaCrosse-Washtucna 51: Lacey Hirst scored 20 points to go with five rebounds and five assists and Kayla Eagleson scored all 16 of her points in the second half as the Falcons (6-11) erased a 13-point first-half deficit, outscoring the visiting Tigercats (5-11) 44-16 in the second half.
Garfield-Palouse 40, Potlatch 29: Kacie Adair had 17 points to lead the Vikings (2-12).
The Loggers struggled through the opening three quarters, falling behind Gar-Pal 29-10 with just one quarter remaining in Potlatch.
Coeur d’Alene Charter 54, Wallace 40: Paige Kelly led three players in double figures with 21 points and the Panthers (6-10) forced 40 turnovers by the Miners (5-12) in Wallace.
Wellpinit at Touchet: The game between the Redskins and Indians was canceled.
