Chelsey Heidenrich made a long 3-pointer with 6 seconds to play to give Lind-Ritzville/Sprague a 48-47 Bi-County 2B League girls basketball win at Kettle Falls Saturday night.
Kettle Falls’ Josie Stanard, who scored a game-high 14 points, hit a midrange jumper with 12 seconds to play to give the Bulldogs (3-8, 2-5) a two-point advantage before Heidenrich’s game-winner.
Davie Killian and Kailey York scored nine points apiece for the Broncos (5-5, 3-5). Heidenreich scored six points.
St. George’s 42, Springdale 33: Alex Wert scored 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and Brenna Russell added 15 points, nine blocks and six boards as the Dragons (4-6, 3-3) clipped the visiting Chargers (3-8, 3-4). Taylor Smith led Springdale with 13 points.
Lewiston 46, Post Falls 33: Chelsea Waters scored 14 points and Tisha Phillips added 11 as the Bengals (11-2, 2-1) beat the host Trojans (8-5, 1-2). Lewiston outscored Post Falls 13-3 in the second quarter to take a 13-point lead into halftime. Rai Franklin, Lexi Smith and Dani Failor all scored seven points for the Trojans.
Moscow 39, Sandpoint 34: Amanda Bigler scored 14 points and the Bears (6-9, 3-1) pulled away in the second half and beat the visiting Bulldogs (6-8, 1-1). Maggie Kirscher had 13 points and Hailey Olin added 11 for Sandpoint.
Deer Park 60, East Valley 54: Tessa Heins scored 21 points and grabbed nine rebounds as the Stags (7-4, 3-0) took control in the second half and beat the host Knights (5-5, 2-1). Danielle Beltrame added 14 points for Deer Park, which outscored East Valley 43-24 in the second half to erase a 13-point halftime deficit. Erin Wallman led East Valley with 20 points.
Clarkston 60, Medical Lake 20: Sierra Higheagle, Jamie Weisner and Ashley Meyers all scored 10 points and the Bantams (8-1, 2-0) whipped the host Cardinals (1-10, 0-3). Clarkston outscored Medical Lake 22-3 in the third to put the game away.
Pullman 64, Cheney 53: Dakota Wickard and Jenny Nakata scored 10 points apiece as the Greyhounds (3-7, 1-2) clipped the visiting Blackhawks (4-6, 1-1). Coreen Labish scored a team-high 11 points for Cheney.
Newport 65, Chewelah 34: The Grizzlies (9-3, 1-2) took control from the opening tip and routed the host Cougars (2-11, 0-3). Courtney Wiese scored 20 points and Taylor Lewis added 16 for Newport, which led by 31 points at halftime. Ryann Richmond scored 14 points – 12 coming in the second half – for Chewelah.
Freeman 62, Riverside 36: Alyssa Maine and Sierra McGarity combined to scored 29 points and the Scotties (11-0, 3-0) routed the visiting Rams (5-8, 0-3). Courtney Davis scored 11 points and Marisa Pace added 10 for Riverside.
Colville 49, Lakeside 30: The Indians’ full-court pressure defense stymied the visiting Eagles in a win. Erin Little scored a game-high 20 points for Colville (7-5, 3-0). Jenna Widman led Lakeside (7-6, 2-1) with nine points.
Cusick 63, Curlew 33: The Panthers (7-3, 3-1) jumped out to a big first-quarter lead and cruised past the host Cougars (2-9, 0-5). Courtney Montgomery scored 16 points and Nalene Andrews and Haley Adams added 10 apiece for Cusick, which led 18-2 after the first quarter. Brittany Mumford and Katie Wimpari scored eight points each for Curlew.
Wellpinit 48, Northport 21: Sami Jo Parr and Danie Flett scored 13 points apiece as the Redskins (3-7, 3-3) locked down defensively and beat the host Mustangs (1-10, 1-5). Valerie Adrian added 10 points for Wellpinit.
Columbia 68, Inchelium 12: Lindsay Loe led four players in double figures with 16 points as the Lions (12-1, 6-0) routed the visiting Hornets (5-5, 1-4) at Hunters. Columbia outscored Inchelium 33-2 in the first quarter and led 55-5 at halftime. Elizabeth Larrew scored 14 points and Andreya Colvin and Krista Colvin added 11 each for the Lions.
Almira/Coulee-Hartline 67, Odessa-Harrington 20: Madeline Isaak scored 18 points and Karlee Martin added 14 as the Warriors (9-2, 2-0) dumped the host Titans (2-8, 1-1).
Rosalia 61, Garfield-Palouse 40: Briann Maley scored 23 points and pulled down nine rebounds to guide the Spartans (10-1, 5-1) past the visiting Vikings (6-3, 3-3). Kristin Paulson tallied 13 points and Mackenzie Reddish added 10 for Rosalia, which led 17-2 after the first quarter. Garfield-Palouse was led by Kaycie Adair’s 16 points.
Tekoa-Oakesdale 58, LaCrosse-Washtucna 27: Courtenay Perry made four of six 3-pointers and finished with 18 points as the Nighthawks (7-3, 4-2) routed the host TigerCats (2-9, 1-5). Kimberly Groom added 17 points for Tekoa-Oakesdale.
Colton 63, St. John-Endicott 23: The Wildcats (10-0, 6-0) took control early and cruised past the visiting Eagles (5-4, 3-3). Haley Moser scored 13 points and Grace Druffel and Daitlin Druffel added 10 apiece for Colton.
Bonners Ferry 47, Coeur d’Alene JV 42: The Badgers (6-6) opened up an 11-point first-quarter lead and cruised past the visiting Vikings. Aubree Wasmer had 12 points and eight rebounds for Bonners Ferry.
Selkirk 46, Republic 36: Annie Couch made all 12 of her free-throw attempts and finished with 17 points as the Rangers (10-3) beat the visiting Tigers (8-5) at Ione. Katie Couch added 15 points and 10 boards for Selkirk.
Moses Lake Christian 60, Wilbur-Creston 27: McKenna Walker had 21 points, 10 rebounds and seven steals as Moses Lake Christian beat the visiting Wildcats (2-6).
