Boys basketball roundup: Anton Watson and Gonzaga Prep remain undefeated

Anton Watson scored 21 points and the Bullpups (6-0, 2-0) defeated the visiting Panthers (1-4, 0-3) 61-33 in a Greater Spokane League game on Thursday. AJ Few and Sam Lockett each added a pair of 3-pointers for G-Prep. Isaiah Saldana led Mead with 11 points and Sam Wenkheimer sank three from beyond the arc.

Lewis and Clark 50, Central Valley 45: Naje Smith scored 18 points and the visiting Tigers (5-2, 3-0) beat the Bears (2-3, 2-1) in a GSL game. Griffin Effenberger went 8-8 from the line down the stretch for the Tigers. Jase Edwards led Central Valley with 20 points.

Ferris 80, University 64: Shamrock Campbell scored 34 points and the Saxons (5-1, 1-1) defeated the visiting Titans (1-3, 0-3) in a GSL match. Ferris opened the game with a 21-11 advantage through the first quarter and extended that lead into the fourth.

Rogers 64, Genesis Prep 60: Evan Nomee scored 15 points and the Pirates (3-4, 0-2) defeated the visiting Jaguars (1-2, 1-0) in a non-league game on Thursday. Cole Riblet followed closely behind with 13 points.

Lewiston 57, Moscow 54: Kyle VanBoeyen scored 21 points and the Bengals (3-3, 0-0) beat Moscow (0-4, 0-1) in an Inland Empire League game. Donaven Santana scored 18 points for Lewiston and Gabe Quinnett scored 21 points for Moscow.

Newport 74, Bonners Ferry 38: Danny Bradbury scored 18 points and the visiting Grizzlies (3-1, 1-1) beat the Badgers (3-2, 1-1) in a non-league game. Behind Bradbury, Owen Leslie scored 17 and Koa Pancho scored 10.
