Arianna Reeves scored 17 points with six rebounds and six assists and Lewis and Clark (14-9) used a big second quarter to put visiting Mead (15-9) in a hole they couldn’t climb out of, winning 66-37 in the 4A subregional loser-out game.
Lewis and Clark visits Chiawana on Friday in another elimination game. The LC/Chiawana winner will face the loser of the Friday title game between Central Valley and Gonzaga Prep for a state berth on Saturday.
LC hit 8 of 11 from the field en route to a 20-5 second-quarter run. Jacinta Buckley added 12 points with nine rebounds for LC while Kaylee Bishop added 11.
Lindsey Russell paced Mead with 13 points.

Medical Lake 32, Lakeside (WA) 30: Michaela Peterson scored the game-winning basket with 3 seconds left – her only points of the game – and the Cardinals (20-2) took the district championship over the Eagles (13-8) at West Valley HS.
Jaycee Oliver led Medical Lake with 10 points. The Cardinals, ranked 11th in state 1A, move on to a regional matchup on Feb. 24 or 25.
Sonja Marikis led the Eagles with nine points. Lakeside hosts an NEA/Caribou Trail League glue crossover game on Friday against Okanogan. The winner advances to regionals.
Chewelah 42, Deer Park 33: Maggie Cobb scored 15 points, Krislyn Koler added 13 and the Cougars (17-5) eliminated the visiting Stags (9-13).
Chewelah, which led 24-16 at halftime, advances to an NEA/CTL glue crossover game on Friday as the third-place finisher from the district tournament. The Cougars travel to Cashmere, with the winner advancing to regionals.
Elli Pierce led Deer Park with 14 points.
