And then there were two.

Of the six regional teams that qualified for the state semifinals last week, two survived to advance to the state championship games this weekend at the Tacoma Dome.

1B – Almira/Coulee-Hartline vs Sunnyside Christian, Friday, 4 p.m: The Warriors (11-2), from the Northeast 1B League, have made an impressive march to the title game with a 60-32 win over Naselle in the first round and a 60-6 rout of Lummi Nation in a semifinal, when all-league QB Maguire Isaak threw three TD passes and ran 41 yards for another. ACH won its last title in 2015. Chance Marsh threw for six TDs as Sunnyside (13-0) crushed Odessa 62-22 in a semi.

2B – Liberty vs Kalama, Saturday, 4 p.m.: The Lancers (13-0) outlasted Asotin 21-16 in a semifinal last week as all-Northeast 2B League RB James Heer carried for 196 yards with a TD. Liberty plays in its second consecutive title game, looking to avenge a 34-16 loss to Napavine last year. QB Alec Fletcher and a pair of receivers were also named first-team all-league. Kalama ousted defending champion Napavine 20-13 last week thanks to Alex Dyer’s 95-yard TD reception from Jacob Herz.
