The Central Valley boys cross country team took third Saturday at the prestigious Bob Firman Invitatonal in Boise.
The Bears, ranked No. 1 in the 4A poll, finished with 139 points in the elite division behind winner Timpanagos and runner-up Springville, both from Utah. North Central took 10th with 295.
Ryan Kline led CV, finishing 17th in 15 minutes, 46.55 seconds. Teammate Gabe Romney was 22nd (15:54.29).
Markus Taylor (15:49.57) and Mohamed Ahmed (15:51.10) led NC by finishing 19th and 20th respectively.
