Girls basketball: Sienna Swannack eclipses 1,000 career points, Lakeside beats Deer Park

Sienna Swannack scored 20 points to eclipse the 1,000-point mark for her career and Lakeside (5-0 NEA) downed visiting Deer Park (1-4) 35-27 in a Northeast 1A league game on Friday.

Taylor Lyons led the Stags with 12 points.

Colville 49, Chewelah 47: Hallie Cox nailed an overtime buzzer-beater and the visiting Indians (2-3) edged the Cougars (1-4). Krislyn Koler led the Cougars with 16 points.

Newport 59, Riverside 46: Alika Robinson scored 18 points, Julie Schoener scored 17 points and the visiting Grizzlies (3-2 NEA) defeated the Rams (0-5). Brittney Nortz led the Rams with 19 points.

Medical Lake 53, Freeman 22: Jayda Noble scored 20 points and the Cardinals (5-0 NEA) beat the visiting Scotties (3-2). Jordyn Goldsmith and Isabelle Miller paced Freeman with five points apiece.

East Valley 64, Pullman 31: Sydney Moore scored 16 points and the visiting Knights (4-0 GNL) defeated the Greyhounds (0-4). Kelsey Nestegard paced Pullman with 11 points.

Clarkston 55, Cheney 42: Makinzie Packwood and Anna Sharp scored 12 points apiece and the Bantams (2-1 GNL) beat the visiting Blackhawks (2-1). Brette Draper led Cheney with nine points.

St. George’s 52, Colfax 51: Mia Smith made a pair of free throws in the waning seconds and the Dragons (6-0 NE2B) beat the visiting Bulldogs (6-1). Carmen Gfeller led Colfax with 29 points.

Northwest Christian 54, Asotin 20: Natalie Smith scored 14 points and the Crusaders (4-2 NE2B) defeated the visiting Panthers (1-4). Myka Lee led Asotin with 12 points.

Liberty 52, Davenport 43: Maisie Burnham scored 21 points and the visiting Lancers (5-1 NE2B) beat the Gorillas (6-1). Sydney Zeiler led Davenport with 12 points.

Kettle Falls 53, Reardan 41: Mallory Pounds scored 23 points and the Bulldogs (3-3 NE2B) beat the visiting Indians (2-4). Kim Dewey led Reardan with 23 points.

Wilbur-Creston 52, Tekoa-Rosalia 42: Alicia Johnson scored 14 points and the Wildcats (2-5 NE2B) defeated the visiting Timberwolves (0-4). Elise Wilkins paced Tekoa-Rosalia with 11 points.

Odessa 50, Republic 17: McKennah Davison scored 15 and visiting Odessa (2-3 NE1B) beat Republic (0-6). Kayla Tonasket led Republic with six points.

Northport 65, Columbia 21: Ashtyn Baribault scored 24 points and the Mustangs (3-3 NE1B) defeated the visiting Lions (0-5). Lexi Nelson scored 10 points to pace Columbia.

Selkirk 62, Wellpinit 43: Gabi Rick scored 27 points and the visiting Rangers (6-0 NE1B) defeated the Redskins (3-2). Mariah Sherwood led Wellpinit with 14 points.

Almira/Coulee-Hartline 62, Inchelium 41: Gabi Isaak scored 23 points and the Warriors (5-0 NE1B) defeated the visiting Hornets (4-2). Meika Heath led Inchelium with 18 points.

Colton 71, St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse 21: Dakota Patchen scored 25 points and the Wildcats (5-0 SE1B) beat the visiting Eagles (0-4). Kierstyn Ray led St. John-Endicott/Lacrosse with six points.

Oakesdale 48, Touchet 40: Logan Reed scored 20 points and the Nighthawks (3-1 SE1B) defeated the visiting Indians (1-3). Katie Skramstad led Touchet with 24 points.

Pomeory 60, Garfield-Palouse 43: Emma Severs scored 19 points and the Pirates (3-1 SE1B) beat the visiting Vikings (3-1). Katie Arrasmith led Garfield-Palouse with 17 points.


Lake City 47, Lewiston 40: Keara Simpson scored 16 points and the Timberwolves (1-0 IEL5A) beat the visiting Bengals (0-1) in a 5A Inland Empire League game. Cameron Cady led Lewiston with nine points.

Timberlake 60, Kellogg 29: Shelby Starr scored 16 points and the visiting Spartans (1-0 IML) downed the Wildcats (0-1) in an Intermountain League game. Kaili Kates led the Wildcats wtih 19 points.

Lakeland 55, Priest River 23: Mel Loutzenhiser had 12 points and the Hawks beat the Spartans in a nonleague game. Liann Karen scored seven points for Priest River.
